Practice review: contract and compliance points in overseas influencer deals

When cross-border influencer marketing goes wrong, it's often a contract problem and an advertising-compliance problem at once.

A typical scenario: a brand partners with an overseas influencer and is penalized for false content or failing to disclose the commercial relationship per local rules, while disputing liability with the influencer under the contract.

Such issues usually have two sides: marketing compliance (disclosure, exaggeration, minor-targeting limits) and a contract (delivery, review rights, breach and liability allocation) that wasn't clear.

The review's point is to write disclosure and content compliance into the agreement, keep review rights and compliance guidance, and define liability and remedies for violations.
