AI products aimed at, or likely to reach, minors need stricter age assurance and data protection.
AI products aimed at or likely used by minors face higher standards in many jurisdictions: age assurance, parental consent, stronger default privacy, and bans on certain personalization.
Penalties for breaching children's-data rules tend to be especially severe.
Design reasonable age assurance, default to strong protection for minor users, and run dedicated compliance review for child-facing features.
